How has PRP affected your family life and relationships?
INDEX – family life and impaired relationships
My partner was diagnosed with PRP right as COVID 19 arrived in the states. I work in the healthcare industry as an RN and life was about to unravel. He was very ill and was hospitalized on two occasions in March, both as emergent admissions with 911 sirens blaring and family members unable to accompany a loved one at the hospital. Since then…we have both learned a lot about each other and our love grows strong. Being the caretaker of my partner stretched my patience and my inner strength to the max. Being a witness to his incredible suffering was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. This is a very challenging syndrome with so many unknowns. Don’t forget to take time out and to talk frequently to your love one, let them know what you are feeling and keep the communication open. ONE DAY AT A TIME
