Editor’s Note: The Canadian Registry of PRP-Savvy Dermatologists is an ongoing effort of PRP Canada. To be listed as PRP, a dermatologist must be nominated by a either a PRP patient or the caregiver of a PRP patient. Another way to “make the list” is for a teaching hospital to identify a PRP -savvy dermatologist.


Over the next several months an effort will be made to confirm the each dermatologist’s nomination or remove the entry. This registry is for the PRP patient or his/her caregiver to locate a PRP-savvy dermatologist. Who better to ask than someone who knows one.

“The hard part here in Canada is requiring a referral first before getting to see a derm. It can take months to get an appt. After a number of trial and error more of cosmetologist..and going to emergency twice. upon the 2nd visit was referred the following day to the hospital dermatologist. Dr. Megan Sander who diagnosed and confirmed via biopsy PRP. She is no longer practicing at the clinic under Dr. K. BARBER. Subsequently was seen by Dr. Jori Hardin  is amazing and would fully recommend her.”

For those that don’t know, there is a clinic in Toronto called Advantderm which takes patients on a first come first serve basis. Show up at 7:30am because there will be a lineup. Clinic opens at 8 and will take patients up to 11 am or until they are full. I have seen them close to new drop ins around 10am. So be there early for top quality dermatologist.
